A Dodge Durango was reported stolen from a residence on West Reserve Drive, and a Ford Ranger was reported stolen from a residence on Canyon Road in Hungry Horse.

License plates were reported stolen from a vehicle at a storage facility on U.S. 2.

Deputies were told that a man with a knife was slashing the tires of a four-wheeler at a shopping center on U.S. 93 North.

The windshield and side-view mirror of a car on South Cedar Drive were damaged. The owner suspects neighborhood youths.

A woman allegedly harassing a Black Hawk Lane resident left before deputies arrived.

A South Woodland Drive resident called deputies after the neighbors' yelling and screaming got out of hand.

A truck smashed through a fence on Pleasant Valley Road and then took off.

Items were stolen from a Batavia Lane residence.

Deputies received 153 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Kalispell police

Kalispell police arrested a 30-year-old woman on suspicion of shoplifting from a grocery store on U.S. 93 South. She allegedly tried to steal candy, stuffed animals, hair products, and laxatives.

A box of wine, $200, keys, and three political campaign signs were stolen from a home on Eighth Street East.

Officers arrested a 23-year-old man on suspicion of a probation violation, the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and driving using an invalid driver's license on East California Street.

Tires on a four-wheeler at a shopping center on U.S. 93 North were slashed. Police suspect the brother of the four-wheeler owner's ex-girlfriend. After the tire-slashing, the ex-girlfriend was arrested on suspicion of assault after she allegedly attacked the four-wheeler's owner and his current girlfriend.

Verbal disturbances were reported on Appleway Drive and Third Avenue West North.

Officers are investigating a report that a Fifth Avenue West woman was attacked by a neighbor, leaving her with a bloody nose and mouth.

Windows were shot out of vehicles on First Avenue East North and Second Avenue East North.

Tires reportedly were slashed on a car parked on Fourth Avenue East.

Medication was taken from a vehicle on Fourth Avenue East.

An 11-year-old student was hit by a green Jeep on North Meridian Road. The driver stopped to make sure the child wasn't hurt and then left.

Officers received 88 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Thursday and 2:30 p.m. Friday.

Whitefish police took custody of a 22-year-old man on a warrant for disorderly conduct.

Officers received 61 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police arrested a 21-year-old man on a misdemeanor warrant during a traffic stop on Talbot Road.

Police received reports that youths were stealing stop signs on Veterans Drive and 13th Street West. When officers arrived, some traffic signs were indeed missing.

Officers received 42 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Alarms

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to a burning slash pile on Stage Line Court. The resident had a burn permit and told firefighters the blaze would be out by nightfall.

The Columbia Falls Fire Department responded to a Railroad Street business, where a pile of bark was on fire. The smoldering mound was doused with water.
