Marcia A. Malloroy, 65

Marcia A. Malloroy, 65, 'went to be with the Lord' on May 21, 2008, in St. Maries, Idaho. She was born April 21, 1943, to Chester and Cecile (Vance) Dreier in Seattle.

She moved to Sandpoint, Idaho, as a young girl, attended schools there, graduated from Sandpoint High School with the class of 1961, then attended the University of Idaho.

Marcia married Dick McEwan on June 21, 1963. They lived in Sandpoint and Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, before moving to St. Maries in the early 1970s. They later divorced.

Marcia married Richard Malloroy on May 17, 1980, at St. Maries, and they made their home in Columbia Falls and Post Falls, Idaho. Mr. Malloroy died in 2003. Marcia moved to St. Maries in 2005.

Serving God was her first priority. She also enjoyed playing golf, bowling, walking, cross-stitching, gardening, ceramics, baking and decorating cakes. She was a devoted, loving mother, grandmother and homemaker all her life.

Marcia was a member of Coeur d'Alene Bible Church, St. Maries T.O.P.S. Club, and the St. Maries Mothers Club.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Julie McEwan, of Post Falls; daughter and son-in-law, Shelly and Gene Kruger, of St. Maries; her sisters, Marilyn Brown of Canby, Ore., and Allison Dreier of Gladstone, Ore.; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, at the St. Maries Church of the Nazarene, with the Rev. Gary Foster of the Community Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in St. Maries. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday, May 26, at Hodge Funeral Home, 138 S. Eighth St., in St. Maries.

Hodge Funeral Home also is entrusted with the arrangements.
