Flathead County sheriff's deputies fielded several bear-related calls Saturday.

A Rhodes Draw resident lost her FFA pig to a hungry bear. Another bear reportedly has been causing problems in Lakeside for the past few days. On Goodrich Road, a caller reported a bear committing criminal mischief. Someone called about a bear that had been shot in the Ferndale area.

The threatening note left on a pickup in a bank parking lot pertained to a road-rage incident. The incident is under investigation.

The alcohol enforcement team ticketed several underage drinkers at a party on Mallard Loop.

Two men fighting in Columbia Falls eventually were separated. One went to the hospital via ambulance; the other was ticketed on suspicion of assault and taken to jail.

Kalispell police

Kalispell police arrested two boys, ages 19 and 16, after a caller reported seeing one of them point a handgun at a guy walking by their vehicle. The older teen was ticketed on suspicion of disorderly conduct and carrying a concealed weapon. The younger was ticketed on suspicion of disorderly conduct, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and being a runaway juvenile.

Someone shot two holes in a health-club window.

Hotel employees couldn't find the owner of the vehicle with the loud car alarm. Someone had broken both rear wing windows out, and employees put out a fire under the dashboard. They had to disconnect the battery to stop the alarm.

Nail guns were stolen from an unlocked garage on Fourth Avenue East. Officers advised the owner to check the local pawn shops.

A local charity discovered $10,700 inside a binder in the donation bin. It was turned over to police.

Alarms

Three Rivers EMS responded Saturday to a report of a woman in labor in a vehicle on Columbia Falls Stage Road. Emergency personnel were en route at 5:06 a.m. and safely delivered the baby 26 minutes later.

The ALERT helicopter flew one person, possibly suffering internal injuries after being sat on by a horse, to the hospital.

The Bad Rock Fire Department took a 31-year-old man to the hospital after he broke his leg and cut his head in a four-wheeler accident. The man wasn't wearing a helmet.

The Smith Valley Fire Department went to a fire on Haywire Gulch.
