A man called deputies from a big box store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen, upset that his car had been repossessed with personal property still inside.

A black Chevrolet truck was spotted tailgating another truck on U.S. 2 near Reserve Drive. Hand gestures reportedly were exchanged after one of the drivers was cut off.

Deputies were told a Klondyke Loop man slapped his 13-year-old stepdaughter. The incident is under investigation.

Deputies were called to mediate a land dispute between two parties on Black Hawk Lane.

A man and woman panhandling outside a big box store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen were told to move along.

A power washer was stolen from the yard of a Caroline Road home.

Deputies settled an argument between a man and a woman at a Shady Lane trailer park.

A man walking down Columbia Falls Stage Road allegedly threw gravel at a passing vehicle.

A car ran into a ditch on Edgewood Drive, but nobody was around when deputies arrived.

Deputies received 149 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Kalispell police

Kalispell police responded to Empire Loop, where a man accidentally shot his vacuum.

Officers arrested two boys, one for possession of tobacco and one for theft, in a 12th Street East alley.

Officers counseled a man whose ex-wife accused him of sending threatening text messages. They counseled her, too.

A 20-year-old woman was arrested at a Main Street business on a warrant for criminal mischief.

Officers were called to Kalispell Regional Medical Center where a man with a stab wound in his leg was being treated. The man refused to cooperate with police and didn't want to press charges.

A North Belmar Drive woman reported seeing a tall young man run out her front door.

Officers arrested a man for assault after he got into a fight on First Street East.

Between $600 and $700 in a money bag were stolen Friday during a dance recital at Flathead High School.

Two guns and other items, including $10 in change and business cards, were stolen from a truck on Eighth Avenue West.

A stolen debit card was used to withdraw $300 from a man's bank account. He suspects his roommate but doesn't want to press charges.

A Toyota Scion was reported stolen from a Third Street East residence.

Officers received 56 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police received 23 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Alarms

The Hungry Horse Fire Department responded to U.S. 2 where someone was burning railroad ties. The fire was out when firefighters arrived.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to a bar on Central Avenue, where a 27-year-old man fell 6 feet and hit his head. He was taken to North Valley Hospital.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to a broken gas line on Airport Road.

Three Rivers EMS took a boy who suffered minor injuries when he fell off his bicycle at Fourth Avenue West to North Valley Hospital.
