Capital crushes Flathead

HELENA - Michael King returned two kickoffs for touchdowns, ran 10 yards for another and also kicked a 28-yard field goal as top-ranked Helena Capital crushed No. 4 Flathead 65-27 in the Class AA football regular-season finale for both teams on Friday.
Capital, 10-0, led 20-0 after the first quarter and 48-7 at the half.
Capital outgained Flathead 546 yards to 273 and snapped the Braves' six-game winning streak.
Mathew Reyant ran for a touchdown and threw for two more as the Bruins head to the upcoming playoffs as the No. 1 seed.
Flathead quarterback Brock Osweiler was 21 of 33 passing for 224 yards. He hit Nolan Grosswiler on a 39-yard TD strike and Travis Andrus on an 11-yard TD pass.
Flathead finishes with a 6-4 record. The Braves are one of eight teams in postseason play.
