A 2-year-old girl fell about 2 1/2 feet in Lakeside on Sunday afternoon. The Lakeside Quick Response Unit responded. The ALERT helicopter took her to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

Flathead sheriff

A grizzly bear attacked an apple tree on Spotted Bear Road on Saturday evening, the Flathead County Sheriff's Office reported.

An assault occurred Sunday at the Flathead County jail. No additional information was available Sunday. No ambulance was called.
