Dr. Timothy Michael Kramer, 39, died Oct. 31, 2008. He is survived by his beloved wife, Kimberly Kramer; sons, Cannon and Cash; and his parents, Cas and Gini Kramer, of Knoxville, Tenn. He is also survived by his siblings, Tracy, Todd and Joan Kramer; many friends, fans and extended family.

Dr. Kramer was born Sept. 24, 1969, in Satellite Beach, Fla. He grew up in an Air Force family, living across the United States and in Central America, but it was always the Northwest that spoke to his spirit; mountains and open space will always call to him.

Moving to Montana last year to raise his family in the Flathead Valley, Tim opened Kalispell KiDDS pediatric dentistry practice in November 2007. As a pediatric surgical specialist, he was immensely gifted, not only in technical skill, but also with love for, humor, and a gentle way with kids. He had recently joined the surgical staff at North Valley Hospital in Whitefish.

Dr. Kramer did his undergraduate study at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He graduated from the University of Tennessee School of Dentistry in Memphis and received a fellowship in pediatric dentistry from the University of Nebraska in Omaha.

Tim was a major in the Air National Guard. He served at Forbes Field, Topeka, Kan., in the Medical Group of the 190th Air Refueling Wing, and at Great Falls Air Force Base, in the Medical Group of the 120th Fighter Wing.

Tim was an amazing dad and loved spending time with his family above all else. He was an avid cyclist, skier and snowboarder and was happiest in the mountains and on the water, hiking, fishing, canoeing and water skiing.

A memorial service will be held at 5:30 p.m. today, Nov. 5, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, located at 230 Baker St., Whitefish, MT 59937.
