Bigfork downs Polson

The Bigfork volleyball team cemented second place in the Northwestern A conference after sweeping visiting Polson on Thursday.

Bigfork's Roxy Thurman and Malery Knoll teamed up for 17 of their team's 31 total kills.

"Both teams came out swinging but our offense just paid off," Bigfork coach Yvonne Peck said.

Bigfork's Emily Hardman had one block and three aces on the night.

Bigfork, behind only Libby in Northwestern A play, finishes its season at home against Hamilton.

Polson was led by Breanne Kelley with 14 kills and Nicole Davey with 10 kills and 17 digs.
