Flathead County sheriff

A Conrad Drive resident called Flathead County sheriffs deputies to report a prowler. The suspect reportedly was crouched down near the homes bedroom window. Deputies spoke with a man out walking in the area, but he was on his way home from work.

Somebody busted through the window of a vacuum store on U.S. 2 and stole about $43.

Animal wardens spoke with the owner of a dog chasing deer on Beaver Lake Road.

The driver of a red SUV spotted spinning brodies in a parking lot on Big Mountain was reported for criminal mischief.

A 6-year-old boy got into a fight with another student at an East Evergreen Drive school. Although deputies were notified, the incident is being handled by the principal and the childrens parents.

A child wearing nothing but a pull-up and a T-shirt was found wandering down the Dodd Avenue in Somers. The boy was returned to his residence.

A 12-year-old boy was reported missing on Scenic Ridge Road. He reportedly put on a jacket after dinner, went outside, and never came back in. The boy was found, but not before rescue personnel had been mobilized.

A wallet reported missing at a box store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen later was found, about $600 light.

Someone in the backyard of a Bison Drive residence jumped the fence when discovered by the homeowner.

Someone called authorities to report a fire near Lone Pine State Park after noticing a red light alternately getting brighter and dimmer. Deputies determined it most likely was the beacon atop a radio tower.

Deputies responded to a disturbance involving yelling and loud music on Mountain Drive in Hungry Horse.

Deputies broke up an argument between two people on Trumble Creek Road. One reportedly had the others car towed because it was parked blocking a driveway.

Kalispell police

An intoxicated man with an outstanding misdemeanor warrant turned himself in at the police station. But instead of taking the man to jail, Kalispell police took him to the hospital. He reportedly was hallucinating.

A car almost hit a child getting off the bus on Empire Loop, prompting an angry call to police.

A 10th Avenue West resident needed officers to remove an unwanted relative from the premises.

A man was spotted urinating in public on First Street West.

Officers responded to a fight between parents during a basketball game at a South Main Street school. The parties involved had gone when officers arrived.

Officers arrested a 37-year-old man on suspicion of disorderly conduct after responding to a fight at a West Idaho Street casino.

Tires were slashed on a car in the parking lot of a West Idaho Street bar.

Officers arrested a man on suspicion of DUI and eluding police after a short chase down First Avenue West.

Alarms

The Marion Fire Department responded to McGregor Lane to extinguish a burning slash pile.

The Smith Valley Fire Department responded to what was reported as an unattended fire near Browns Meadow in Kila.

The Columbia Falls Fire Department and Three Rivers EMS responded to a crash on Tamarack Lane, but no one involved in the wreck needed medical attention.

The ALERT helicopter and Bigfork Ambulance responded to the Montana 82 bridge over the Flathead River after a man who was duck hunting crashed his boat into a partially submerged dock. The man, who spent an hour in the water with a head injury, was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

Marion Ambulance and the Smith Valley Fire Department responded to Ashley Lake Road after a 90-year-old man fell. He was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The Evergreen Fire Department, South Kalispell Fire Department, Smith Valley Fire Department, and West Valley Fire Department were paged out to a fire in a Stillwater Road barn, but firefighters were unable to find anything burning.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to the hockey rink building at Woodland Park after a passer-by reported seeing smoke. Turns out it was steam from some machinery.
