Flathead County Sheriff's deputies responded Tuesday to a Lakeside casino after a man who previously had been kicked out returned. Deputies advised the man to stay gone permanently. The man, who apparently didn't listen, again showed up at the casino about four hours later, but left before deputies arrived for the second time that night.

Someone on Somers Road reportedly was flying their flag upside down.

Deputies received a call from a Two Mile Drive parent concerned about some comments an adult member of their church made to their children.

Deputies responded to Trumble Creek Road after receiving reports that a man there might hurt himself. The 26-year-old man, who denied he was suicidal, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for felony drug charges.

A mountain lion was spotted in the backyard of a Montana 35 residence.

Someone threw a rock at the front window of a Grand Drive residence. There was no damage.

Two shots were heard on Spring Hill Road, but deputies were unable to find anything amiss.

A motorist called in to report that a logging truck on Montana 35 was losing parts and that its brakes were smoking.

A woman on U.S. 2 believes her ex-boyfriend's new girlfriend is harassing her.

Someone shot a dog on Gosney Crossroad near Columbia Falls.

Employees of a business on U.S. 2 showed up to work to find a window busted and a till emptied.

Deputies responded to a residence on U.S. 93 near Lakeside after receiving reports that someone broke in and might still be inside.

Deputies received 107 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Kalispell police

A man using a fake Southern accent called a pharmacy at the intersection of Idaho and Main streets and tried to fill a fraudulent prescription for painkillers. Kalispell police responded and arrested the suspect when he tried to pick it up.

Cash, a drill, a radio, and other items were stolen from a pickup truck on Second Avenue West.

Officers responded to an electronics store on U.S. 93 North and arrested a 16-year-old girl on suspicion of theft by embezzlement.

Officers received a walk-up complaint of drug activity at the intersection of Sixth Avenue West and Center Street, but were unable to find anything amiss when they went to investigate.

A "strange man" knocked on the door of an Appleway Drive residence and left the homeowner with some food that was allegedly from the Red Cross.

A vehicle reported stolen from a bar on First Avenue West was found and returned to its owner.

Officers responded to an Appleway Drive residence and separated two people arguing. The woman involved accused her ex-boyfriend of pushing her off the couch and hitting her with a pillow.

Officers received 60 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Tuesday and 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police received 35 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police received 28 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Alarms

The West Valley Fire Department responded to Farm To Market Road after receiving reports that a resident burning roofing material caught a tree on fire. It was a controlled burn.

The Somers Fire Department was paged out to check on a controlled burn on a hillside overlooking U.S. 93.

The Somers Fire Department also responded to what was reported as a chimney fire on Tacklin Creek Road.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to an apartment and business complex on Fifth Avenue East after someone reported a strong odor of natural gas.

The Kalispell Fire Department and Evergreen Fire Department responded to a rollover crash on Whitefish Stage Road and Reserve Drive. The driver refused medical attention.

The Bigfork Fire Department responded to a fire in a garbage Dumpster on Montana 83.
