James Arnold Lee, 69

James Arnold Lee, 69, passed away Monday, Nov. 17, 2008. Jim "went to heaven to be with our Lord." Jim was born in Sandpoint, Idaho, on May 28, 1939. His parents were Arnold Lee and Pauline "Polly" Lee Harrison.

Preceding him in death was his father, Arnold Lee, in 1974; brother, Delbert Lee, in 1997; daughter, Geraldine Lynn Kirkendahl, in 1999; and Jim's second wife, Marjorie Ellen Lee, in 1972.

Jim was in the military in the late '50s for a short time.

He was a master diesel mechanic on trucks and heavy equipment. Jim also operated heavy equipment on the Sewer Lagoon project in Ronan, for Whitefish City Sewer and Water, and for a housing development in Missoula. He also drove 18-wheel trucks and low boys all across the U.S., Alaska and Canada for a number of years. He logged in the Libby area and the Washington coast as a young man.

Jim loved hunting, fishing, and especially boating.

Jim married Karen Tillman Lee Monroe in 1959, then in 1971, married Marjorie Ellen Lee of Minnesota. After his wife's death, he met Margery Faulkner, who also was widowed. They got married in 1973, and put their families together and raised them.

He is survived by his wife, Margery Lee, at the family home; his mother, Pauline "Polly" Harrison, of Spokane; his daughters, Jackie and husband, Jim Sverrup, of Kalispell, and Sheri Lynette Evins of Missoula; sons, James W. Lee and wife, Debbie, of Gig Harbor, Wash., Mark W. Lee and wife, Shelley, of Chattaroy, Wash., Daniel Lee and wife, Paige, of Medical Lake, Wash., Lawrence "Larry" and wife, Connie Faulkner, Richard and wife, Katharine Faulkner, of Kalispell, Mark and wife, Betsy Faulkner, Russell Faulkner of Fredericksburg, Va., and Jerry and wife, Miranda Faulkner, of Surprise, Ariz.; 32 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home. Interment will be after the service at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery.
