Flathead County Sheriff's deputies responded to South Woodland Drive after a young boy called 911 to report a disturbance between his mother and her boyfriend. The 41-year-old boyfriend, who allegedly pulled the woman's hair and pushed her against a wall, was arrested for partner assault.

A Martin City area woman called deputies after her daughter, who was driving to Montana from Colorado, failed to show up on schedule. Deputies broadcast the daughter's description, but she had yet to show up Thursday morning.

Deputies responded to Lost Creek Drive after a 37-year-old man allegedly twisted his wife's arm. He was arrested for partner assault.

A Tamarack Lane woman told deputies her son was at the house threatening to beat people up. He left before deputies arrived, the woman was told to call back if he returned.

A woman on Birch Grove Road almost hit a cow in the road.

A woman home alone at a North Hilltop Road residence reported some suspicious people outside the house, possibly there to burglarize the place. Turns out they were friends of hers who dropped by unannounced.

Deputies responded to Elk Park Road after a man and his 16-year-old son got into a fight. Deputies counseled the parties involved, none of whom wanted to press charges.

One of the two occupants of a late 1980s Chevrolet driving near Polebridge at a high rate of speed allegedly fired a gun.

A man and woman on Grand Drive got into an argument over their daughter's medical condition. Deputies responded and settled it.

Someone found a counterfeit $100 bill on the floor of a box store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen.

License plates were reported stolen off a car in the Evergreen area.

A man trying to get information off a Harmony Court resident's vehicle for use in a civil suit was reported for trespassing. Turns out he was on the public right of way.

Deputies were called to keep the peace while an eviction notice was served on a Birch Point Drive residence.

Someone ran into a mailbox on Two Mile Drive.

All four tires on a car parked off Jellison Road were slashed.

Kalispell police

Kalispell police responded to Glacier High School after receiving reports that a 16-year-old girl was distributing prescription medication.

Officers arrested a 33-year-old woman on warrants for failure to appear in court on tickets for driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance, and a 37-year-old man for obstructing police during a traffic stop on West Idaho Street.

A 25-year-old man was arrested on warrants for driving without insurance and with an expired registration after officers responded to a call on 10th Avenue West.

Graffiti was found on a First Avenue West building.

A judge at Kalispell Municipal Court asked officers to take an intoxicated offender to the hospital. From there the offender went to jail.

Mail was found scattered in the middle of Seventh Street East. It was returned to its rightful recipient.

Officers cited a 19-year-old girl for shoplifting after she took a $3.50 hair clip from a store in a Center Street mall.

Someone took the antenna of a truck parked at a Third Avenue East North grocery store.

A window was broken out of a store on South Main Street and a lock box went missing.

Officers counseled a 17-year-old boy who brought beer and a friend back to the Farview Drive residence where he was staying.

An employee of a Claremont Street business asked to speak with an officer about an incident that occurred two weeks ago. A fellow employee apparently hit his leg with a desk drawer.

A woman asked police to check on her 17-year-old daughter, who may have been attending a party at an East Idaho Street motel where drugs and alcohol were present.

A 26-year-old man was arrested for DUI and drug possession during a traffic stop on First Avenue West North.

Officers received two separate reports of gunshots on Appleway Drive.

The Northwest Montana Drug Task Force requested officers arrest a 55-year-old man with an outstanding warrant when he drove away from a North Main Street building.

Officers received 63 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Wednesday and 2:30 p.m. Thursday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a 20-year-old man for driving on a suspended license without insurance during a traffic stop on U.S.. 93.

A 43-year-old man was arrested for contempt of court during a hearing in city court.

Officers arrested a 20-year-old man for non-aggravated family member assault after a domestic disturbance on Armory Road. He allegedly slashed his mother's tires.

Officers received 31 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police received 26 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Alarms

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to a crash at the intersection of South Main Street and Fifth Street, but no one was seriously injured.

The Smith Valley Fire Department and Marion Ambulance responded to U.S. 2 west of Batavia Lane after a vehicle hit a deer. The driver was shaken up but did not need medical attention.

The Creston Fire Department responded to what turned out to be controlled burns in the Many Lakes area.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to a building on Third Avenue West. Turns out something on the stove was burning and tripped the fire alarm.
