A Columbia Falls-area resident reported the unauthorized use of their vehicle. A woman, who reportedly had a key but wasn't on the registration, is accused of taking the car without permission. Later, Flathead County Sheriff's deputies responded to a residence on Columbia Falls Stage Road when the person who reported the car missing allegedly was threatened.

A strange vehicle reportedly parks outside a Dern Road residence about every two weeks and spotlights a nearby home.

Deputies were unable to find a Chevrolet pickup truck that pulled into a Lakeside Boulevard resident's driveway and then drove through a neighbor's yard with its lights off.

Deputies tried to serve a felony warrant at a Birch Grove Road residence, but the wanted man was not home. He later was arrested near Flathead Valley Community College.

Deputies were told that shots fired on Rocky Cliff Drive hit a building, but deputies were unable to find anything amiss.

A man walking down Foy's Lake Road got tired and sat down. He was reported as a suspicious person.

A horse on Montana 82 had a cut leg.

Drivers at the intersection of U.S. 2 and Reserve Drive got into an argument after they were involved in a fender bender.

Tires and wheels were reported stolen from a Kienas Road residence.

Possible deer poachers were reported on Montana 82 and Farm Road.

Disturbances were reported on U.S. 93 near mile marker 125 and on Grandale Avenue.

Deputies were called to remove people trespassing on land off Leonard Lane and Aluminum Drive near Columbia Falls.

Deputies received 117 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Kalispell Police

Kalispell police responded to Liberty Street after a woman reported receiving threatening phone calls. A man allegedly was threatening to vandalize the woman's vehicle and shoot her house with a 9 mm.

A Fourth Avenue West resident reported that some underage kids at a neighboring house were drinking and doing drugs. Officers responded and told those not welcome at the home to leave. They also destroyed some drug paraphernalia.

Officers responded to Appleway Drive and separated a man and woman arguing after dispatchers received a 911 hang-up.

People living in a car off Garden Way while they saved up to pay rent at a nearby residence were warned to watch their noise level after a neighbor complained.

Gas was siphoned from a vehicle on Farview Drive. A purse was stolen from a vehicle on First Avenue West. A CD player and a safe with personal documents were taken from a car on Hawthorne Avenue.

A student riding the bus as it passed a hotel on First Avenue East allegedly assaulted another student.

No one was seriously injured in a three-car crash on U.S. 93 and Northridge Drive.

Christmas lights on a First Avenue East post office allegedly were ripped down and busted.

Officers received 58 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Sunday and 2:30 p.m. Monday.

Whitefish Police

Whitefish police took reports of a reckless driver at the intersection of U.S 93 and Montana 40.

Officers received 35 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Columbia Falls Police

Columbia Falls police were called to remove an unwanted person from a residence on First Avenue West. The woman was already gone when officers arrived.

A Mazda pickup truck was reported stolen on Third Avenue East.

Officers received 20 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Alarms

The Hungry Horse Fire Department responded to what was reported as an unsafe bonfire at a park on Canyon Road.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to a crash at the intersection of U.S. 93 and 18th Street. A woman suffering chest pains was taken to the hospital.

The Kalispell Fire Department also responded to a chimney fire at the city airport on Airport Road.

The Evergreen Fire Department responded to Woodland Park Drive after a man fell off his bike. He was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to Colorado Avenue after an apartment filled with smoke.
