Helen Marie Koford Seek, 96

Helen Marie Koford Seek, 96, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008, at the Heritage Place in Kalispell. She was born April 26, 1912, in Kalispell to Alfred and Hulda (Sundin) Koford.

What Helen enjoyed most was being a wife, mother and grandmother.

She was employed at F.W. Woolworth for many years and at Buttrey's Department Store in Kalispell for several years, then managed the Borden Hotel in Whitehall.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Marvin Seek, in August 1971; her parents; four brothers, Oscar, Edward, Victor and Paul Koford; two sisters, Elsie Branes and Tillie Wihlborg; a stepson, Darrel Seek; and a grandson, Steve Caldwell.

She is survived by a son, James Seek, and wife, Veronica, of Kalispell; and a daughter, Phyllis Caldwell, and husband, Roy, of Arizona; a sister, Elaine Bates, of Yakima, Wash.; two granddaughters, Rita Evans and husband, Bruce, of Norfolk, Va., and Judy Lemrick and husband, Wayne, of Whitehall; three grandsons, Forest Seek and wife, Candy, of California, Wade Seek and wife, Jan, of Washington, and Ryan Seek of Arizona; four great-grandchildren, Patrick Fernandes and Katie Lemrick, both of Bozeman, Tom Loveland and wife, Kelli, of Plano, Texas, and Joe Loveland, also of Plano; two great-great-grandchildren, Ben and Ava Loveland, of Plano; with many nieces and nephews.

A private urn burial will be held by the family.
