Sykes offers traditional holiday feast today

Sykes' Grocery and Market continues its Thanksgiving Day tradition by inviting everyone in the community to enjoy food and fellowship.

The restaurant will serve a free holiday dinner from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. as well as offering to-go orders and deliveries to shut-ins.

The menu includes turkey and dressing, ham, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, ambrosia salad, rolls and pie.

The dinner is free but donations are always welcome.

Sykes' is located at 202 Second Ave. W. in Kalispell.

Longtime Sykes' owners Doug and Judy Wise started offering the holiday feast more than 25 years ago.

The Wises recently sold Sykes' to Mike and Mary McFarland, but the Thanksgiving tradition is continuing.
