A Plentywood Drive resident called Flathead County Sheriff's deputies to report that her safe, which had been bolted to the floor, was missing, as was the medication she reportedly kept inside.

A Trumble Canyon Road woman told deputies another woman threatened to kill her, but didn't want to press charges.

Some people with heavy coats and backpacks hanging out in the Creston area were reported as suspicious. They were gone when deputies arrived.

A rock slide was reported on U.S. 2 near mile marker 156.

A neighbor taking care of a Three Mile Drive resident's house while they are away told deputies she believes someone broke into the home and is still inside.

A dog was spotted chasing livestock on Eckleberry Drive.

A caretaker left a child in the car while running into a box store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen, prompting a passerby to call deputies and report a case of child abuse.

Campaign signs on Airport Road were vandalized.

Deputies were called to break up altercations taking place outside a box store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen, at a Tamarack Avenue residence, and on Spotted Bear Road in Martin City.

Someone spotted a suspicious light on Columbia Mountain.

A young man shouting vulgarities at the intersection of West California Street and Second Avenue West attempted to kick an older woman passing by. Kalispell police arrested the man for disorderly conduct.

A Second Avenue West resident called with questions for the city's animal warden. His cats had taken up residence in his boat, damaging it, and he wanted advice on how to remove them.

A Third Avenue West resident was getting harassing phone calls from a man.

Somebody walked out of an East Idaho Street restaurant without paying the $2.99 tab for their meal.

Officers responded to Ashley Drive after a resident reported that a neighbor man was almost intentionally run over by someone driving a maroon car. Officers arrived and broke up an argument between the man and his wife.

A woman called police saying that her ex-boyfriend, who was holding onto her car and pounding on the window, wouldn't let her leave the parking lot of a restaurant on West Idaho Street. He was gone when officers arrived.

The desk clerk of a U.S. 93 South hotel called police after observing a man in a wheelchair trying to break into the hotel restaurant's kitchen after it closed. The man was escorted off the property.

While they were conducting a walk-through of a West Idaho Street bar, a patron noticed officers, ducked into a bathroom, and then took off running,

Officers received 68 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Sunday and 2:30 p.m. Monday.

Tires were slashed and windows broken on vehicles parked on Sixth Street East, Creekwood Drive, and Seventh Street West. Someone left a white, powdery substance near the gas cap of a car on Somers Avenue. An iPod, camera, and purse were taken from a car parked on Sixth Street East before it was egged. Whitefish police are investigating.

Officers arrested a 20-year-old man on a warrant for theft while patrolling Wisconsin Avenue near the viaduct. He was also charged with possession of alcohol because he was under the influence.

Officers received 55 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Columbia Falls police received 17 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

The Columbia Falls Fire Department responded to reports of a strong gas odor at the veterans home on Veterans Drive.

The Marion Fire Department was paged out to reports of a crash on Thompson Road.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to a bar on Baker Avenue after somebody there fell over.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to reports that some power lines went down at the intersection of West Idaho Street and Eighth Avenue. The culprit may have been a blown transformer.
