C-Falls, Polson split in soccer

POLSON - Hats off to Columbia Falls' Chase Jackson, whose three goals helped the Wildcats beat Polson 4-1 Tuesday in Northern A boys soccer.
Polson scored first after Keio Salmonson took a pass from Peter Hanson and scored 16 minutes into play. But Jackson answered four minutes later with a game-tying goal.
In the second half, Polson gave up the lead to Columbia Falls after accidentally putting the ball in its own net. After that Jackson took care of the scoring and made two unassisted goals to solidify the hat trick.
Columbia Falls' goal keeper George Kimerly saved seven shots while Polson's Will Wallace saved six.

POLSON - Heather Howell's first-half goal ended up being the difference as Polson beat Columbia Falls in Northern A play.
Howell scored the unassisted goal on Wildkats keeper Stephanie Raymond, who saved 11 shots in the game. Polson goal keeper Jacie Morrison saved nine shots for the shutout.
