Lennon Riley Lindberg, 'our little angel,' was born Oct. 12, 2003, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center, and passed away Sept. 19, 2008, at Sacred Heart Children's Hospital after receiving treatment for the tragic accident that left his beautiful brain deprived of oxygen on Sept. 9. He will be missed by many, for everyone that knew him was blessed.

He resided in Kila for most of his natural life and is survived by his mother, Sunni Marie Lindberg, father, Michael Robert Lindberg, and brother, Dylan Michael Lindberg. He also has many grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that will truly miss him.

Lennon (Lenny, Doodlebug, Bugsy, Monkey Do and Lemon Peel) was a very gifted child, not only in academics but with people. He could brighten anyone's day. He would pick flowers for anyone he thought was having a bad day. He'd sing songs to brighten people's moods.

Lennon had a fondness for smaller children, often bringing them his special toys or stuffed animals if they were crying. Everywhere we brought Lennon, he would make friends or brighten someone's day.

Lennon's favorite activities included running, puddle jumping, riding bikes, swimming, and of course, climbing. He also loved to chase chickens.

His favorite leisure activities were coloring, painting, reading books, 'The Lorax,' The Dream Tree' and 'Giraffe and a Half' to name a few, and he loved music, especially Jack Johnson and Bob Marley.

Lennon was not quite 5, yet he often talked of getting married and having five children of his own. He never got that chance, but because of the nature of his injury, he was able to donate life and save five children.

'Lennon, you will be missed, but never forgotten.'

Memorial services will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11, at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church in Lakeside. A celebration of Lennon's life will be held on his 5th birthday, Sunday, Oct. 12, at the family home in Kila, 2261 Truman Creek Road. Feel free to come join in tears, laughter and food (Bring a dish).

A family friend started a Web site (lennonsfriends.org) for information and updates while the family was at the hospital. The family will try to update the site as soon as possible.

'Many thanks to all of you who are supporting us through this tragic time. We honestly could not do this without you.'
