Elmer Melton Anderson, 79

Elmer Melton Anderson, 79, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008, at his home in Kalispell. He was born April 1, 1929, in Circle, to Elling and Elena (Jacobson) Anderson.

Elmer moved with his family to Lakeside when he was 7 years old. He worked for many years at Flathead Industries.

Elmer was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Josephine Wolf; and five brothers, Edwin, Lorance, Emil, Arthur and Lloyd.

He is survived by one brother, Leonard Anderson, and wife, Leota, of Kalispell; and three sisters, Helen Stevens-McManus and husband, Red, and Mathilda Sprinkel and husband, Dean, all of Kalispell, as well as Christina Tranberg of Lakeside.

Funeral services for Elmer are planned for 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 10, in the Johnson-Gloschat chapel. Burial will be afterward at the C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. today, Oct. 9, at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home.
