Someone reportedly threw pumpkins through passing vehicles' windows on Karen Road on Saturday afternoon. Columbia Falls police are investigating.

While investigating a disturbance, police arrested a 21-year-old woman on suspicion of disorderly conduct, obstructing an officer and resisting arrest.

Bicycles were reported stolen on Talbot Road and at Columbia Falls High School.

While responding to a barking dog complaint, police arrested a 33-year-old man on a Flathead County warrant.

Officers received 30 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

A Ridgewood Drive man told Flathead County sheriff's deputies he'd just assaulted his wife and needed to go to jail. He said he'd wait outside, unarmed, for them to take him away. Deputies discovered the man hadn't hit his wife and gave him a ride to another house.

The vehicle reportedly chasing deer through a field off Ranchette Lane was gone before deputies arrived.

Deputies and officials from Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks responded to a report of a boat sinking on the Flathead River. The boat had been abandoned by its owner.

Pain medication was reported stolen at a Village Lane home in Bigfork.

Two spotting scopes and other items were swiped from an unlocked vehicle on Willow Glen Drive. A motorcycle also was reported stolen there.

Deputies received 146 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

A woman called for Kalispell police assistance when she couldn't find her car keys.

A Fifth Street West resident reported her 1990 gray Honda Prelude stolen. A 1997 Ford Explorer was stolen from a car lot on East Idaho Street.

A woman said her 15-month-old child was assaulted by another woman at a women's shelter.

Officers arrested a 27-year -old man on suspicion of driving under the influence. A 42-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of his sixth DUI, a felony.

While responding to a report of a fight at a downtown bar, police arrested a 21-year-old woman on suspicion of assault, open container and a warrant out of Missoula for failure to comply with driving-while-suspended charges.

A Rosewood Drive resident suspects one of his roommate's friends stole his debit and state ID cards.

A kid showed a grocery-store patron a bottle of pills, possibly methadone, which the patron suspected the youth had stolen or was trying to sell.

Officers received 78 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Friday and 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

Whitefish police arrested a 20-year-old man on suspicion of DUI after he reportedly drove 80 mph through town. He also was ticketed in connection with eluding officers.

A political sign was stolen from Baker Avenue.

Officers received 35 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Kalispell Fire Department put out a fire on an outside wall at Moose's Saloon on Friday evening.

Columbia Falls Fire Department extinguished a chimney fire from a pellet stove on Montana 40 on Saturday morning.

A couch caught fire, possibly from wood chips in a fireplace, on Egan Road early Saturday afternoon. Creston Fire Department put it out.

Smith Valley Fire Department went to a 0.2-acre grass fire on Smoke Ridge near Kila on Saturday afternoon.
