Boy hit by car

The Columbia Falls Fire Department and Three Rivers EMS responded to Columbia Falls high School after a 17-year-old boy was hit by a car. He reportedly was riding on the hood of another car in the parking lot when he fell off and was struck. The boy, who was alert, breathing, and conscious, went by ambulance to North Valley Hospital.

A Bernard Road woman called Flathead County Sheriff's deputies worried about her ex, who she was afraid may show up at the house. He later did, and deputies arrested the 33-year-old man for violating his probation.

A Caroline Road resident returned home from church to find a running vehicle in her yard and the driver passed out behind the wheel. Deputies responded and arrested a 31-year-old woman for DUI.

A woman's children and her father were fishing off a bridge on Plentywood Drive in Evergreen when a blue Toyota allegedly tried to run them down.

Two domesticated black and white rats were found in a box at the Kila green box site.

Deputies were called twice to deal with a belligerent, blue jeans-wearing man at a Stoner Creek Road gravel pit.

Someone stole a pickup truck that had been donated to the South Kalispell Fire Department and was sitting at their Willow Glen Drive fire hall. The thief apparently used a tow truck - the vehicle had no transmission.

A man was spotted trashing a car near the Hungry horse Reservoir. It was his car.

A man allegedly pushed a woman to the ground at a Somers bar, then continued yelling at her outside. Deputies responded, but no one wanted to press charges.

No one was hurt in a motorcycle crash on U.S. 2 at Bighorn Drive and when a car ran into a ditch on Anderson Lane.

A nurse at Kalispell Regional Medical Center asked Kalispell police to remove an intoxicated woman from the emergency room. The 44-year-old was arrested for assault and disorderly conduct.

Someone tried to break into a North Main Street building, prying open the back door and knocking out the dead bolt.

A car at a home repair store on U.S. 93 was dented by an errant cart, prompting a call to police.

Officers arrested a 19-year-old man for driving without a valid license and without insurance during a traffic stop near a park on Baker Avenue.

Columbia Falls police arrested a 36-year-old man for family member assault after responding to a disturbance on Martha Road.

A car on Diane Road was vandalized.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to a crash on Armory Road. An injured occupant was taken first to North Valley Hospital and then transferred to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The West Valley Fire Department and Kalispell Fire Department responded to McMannamy Draw after a 7-year-old suffered multiple bee stings. The child was taken to the hospital by private vehicle.

The Evergreen Fire Department responded to a controlled burn behind a restaurant on U.S. 2 while the Bigfork Fire Department and Ferndale Fire Department were paged to a controlled burn near Wolf Creek Canyon.
