HBHashley commits to Tech

Glacier High School senior Emilee Hashley has signed a Frontier Conference letter of intent to play volleyball at Montana Tech.

Hashley, a 6-foot-0 middle hitter, was an all-conference performer last year and a team captain for the Wolfpack.

She currently leads the Wolfpack in kills (142) and blocks (57).

'd2I am very excited to have signed Emilee,'d3 Tech coach Marilyn Tobin said in a press release.'ca

'd2She is one of the top players out of Montana this year. She has great court awareness, knows how to set a block, and is a terminator on offense. She fits into our program not only because she is a great volleyball player, but a terrific student as well.'ca'd3

Hashley is a three-sport standout at Glacier.

In basketball, she was an all-state player and team captain last season. She has been named to the all-conference team twice.

'caIn track, Hashley finished first in the shot put and javelin last year at the Western AA divisional meet.'caHer sophomore year, she place third place at state in the shot.

'd2The team chemistry and the fun the girls have together is unique. Montana Tech is also strong academically.'caTech has the career field of my dreams and that also made my decision pretty easy. Hashley plans to major in Occupational Safety and Health.'caShe has earned academic all-state honors in all three sports and has a 4.0 GPA in 3 of the last four semesters.'ca
