A plane with malfunctioning nose gear landed safely Tuesday night at Glacier Park International Airport. Although rescue workers and firefighters were dispatched to the runway in case of a crash, the plane landed without incident. No one was injured.

An 18-year-old woman was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center with a head injury after she allegedly was assaulted by her boyfriend at a residence on Montana 206. The woman was able to get away to a friend's house and call Flathead County sheriff's deputies, who are looking for the boyfriend.

A Van Sant Road woman came into the Sheriff's Office to report an either lost or stolen diamond pendant.

Someone threw a rock at a car on U.S. 93 west of Whitefish.

Deputies were called to Foothill Road after someone allegedly claiming to be law enforcement came to a man's door looking for the man's son. Deputies suspect it might have been a process server.

Guns were reported stolen on Shady Lane.

A teenage skateboarder allegedly threw a rock at a woman's car near the ball fields on Woodland Park Drive.

Deputies advised a man and woman, arguing about the custody of a child on Montana 35, about their court options.

An older man lying in the middle of Flathead Drive was gone when deputies arrived.

Deputies received an anonymous tip informing them that a Marion woman was abusing her 16-year-old daughter. The tip is under investigation.

A 23-year-old man, allegedly trying to pass a forged check at a bar in Somers, was thrown in jail on an outstanding warrant.

Deputies responded twice to a motel on U.S. 2 in Evergreen after a guest's loud music prompted a call to authorities. The guest reportedly was playing the same song over and over and over again.

Someone shot a dog on Black Bear Lane.

A 2-year-old child found in the middle of Birch Drive in Evergreen was returned to a parent.

A boy in a black sweatshirt was observed pointing what was reported as two pistols at traffic on Shadow Lane. Turns out the pistols were pellet guns, which were confiscated.

Deputies received 131 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Kalispell police

A woman complained to Kalispell police that after she almost hit a boy on a skateboard near Woodland Park, he began yelling at her and throwing things at her car.

Officers told a person hitchhiking from a parking lot on U.S. 93 North to move along.

Someone shoplifted a box of ammunition from a sporting goods store on U.S. 93 North.

Officers told a person lying across railroad tracks on Fourth Street West to get up and leave.

A Fourth Avenue West resident complained about being harassed by the neighbors. No word on what precipitated the alleged harassment.

A motorist driving the wrong way down U.S. 2 and then swerving all over the road was reported as a possible drunken driver after reaching the intersection of Main and Idaho streets.

A Pintail Court man made a neighbor boy uncomfortable as he waited for the bus.

Officers arrested a 30-year-old man on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol during a traffic stop on First Avenue West.

Someone stole a political sign off a vehicle parked at a grocery store on U.S. 93 South.

Officers received 62 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a 27-year-old woman on suspicion of DUI after she was involved in a two-car crash on Baker Avenue. She also was ticketed on suspicion of having expired registration, no insurance, and a stop-sign violation.

A black Ford Ranger was reported stolen from a casino on U.S. 93 south of downtown.

While he was visiting a residence on Baker Avenue and First Street, a 35-year-old man was arrested on a felony warrant for failing to keep his violent-offender registration current .

Officers received 42 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police arrested a 17-year-old boy on suspicion of obstruction of justice in the parking lot of a bank on U.S. 2.

Officers received 12 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Alarms

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to a hit gas line on Mountain Park Drive and the Kalispell Fire Department responded to a hit gas line on Third Avenue East North.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to what was reported as a hazardous smell on Ninth Avenue West.
