A Bierney Creek Road woman told Flathead County Sheriff's deputies a man choked her and threw her on the ground. She allegedly bit his arm and tore his shirt during the struggle. He left, and she reportedly called authorities after regaining consciousness. She declined medical attention. The case is under investigation.

A Pine Bench resident complained about her neighbors' partying habits. A group of teen boys reportedly likes to shoot off guns in the middle of the night.

The Bigfork Fire Department responded to reports of an unsafe bonfire near the boat launch off LaBrant Road. Firefighters instructed the revelers to douse the flames.

The Somers Fire Department responded to reports that a Brass Road residence's roof was on fire. When firefighters arrived, the flames reportedly were out, but the roof was still smoking.
