A Prosperity Lane man told Flathead County Sheriff's deputies his girlfriend threatened him with a chisel prior to stabbing him in the chest with a fork. When the man called 911, dispatchers could hear things being thrown in the background. The man did not require medical attention.

Deputies assisted the Lake County Sheriff's Office in responding to reports of a fight at a gas station on U.S. 93 in Rollins.

Overdue hikers checked in with guardians about half an hour after they were reported missing. The 17- and 18-year-old boys had been in the Jewel Basin area.

Three Rivers EMS responded to Nucleus Avenue where a man put a rod through his hand. He was taken to North Valley Hospital.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to a burning stump near a Frisbee golf course on Lakeshore Drive.

The West Valley Fire Department extinguished an electrical fire at a Birch Grove Road residence.
