Flathead County sheriff

When a 29-year-old Cedar Lane man asked his roommate to leave, she allegedly jumped on his back during the ensuing argument. In response, the man grabbed a revolver, for intimidation purposes. Flathead County sheriff's deputies arrested him on suspicion of assault with a weapon.

Somebody was spotted cutting the antlers off a dead deer in a ditch off Montana 40.

A woman called deputies from a residence on First Avenue South in Hungry Horse to say she had an argument with her ex-boyfriend and that she wanted the incident documented.

A Hungry Horse man reported his cell phone stolen, but later found it at the bar - where he had left it.

Kalispell police

A Third Avenue West resident called Kalispell police because the neighbor had some teenage girls over and she suspected drug activity. Officers arrived and took three girls cutting class back to Flathead High School.

Officers served an inmate of the county jail with a misdemeanor warrant for disorderly conduct.

A teenage boy allegedly shoved a man during a disagreement about their respective driving habits on Second Avenue West.

When a 45-year-old man barred from a Second Avenue West apartment complex returned, the manager had him arrested on suspicion of trespassing.

The father of a newborn baby threatened to retrieve his child from Kalispell Regional Medical Center - where the child was with the 17-year-old mother - with the aid of a shotgun. He called the hospital, but never showed up.

People who looked as if they were about to get into a fight outside a Second Street East bar dispersed.

Two girls were spotted fighting at Whitefish High School. They will be counseled by the school resource officer.

Officers received 44 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police arrested a 15-year-old boy on suspicion of shoplifting after he stole gum and a lighter from a convenience store on U.S. 2.

Officers visited a Columbia Lane residence and arrested a 19-year-old woman on a warrant for contempt of court.

Officers received 33 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Alarms

Three Rivers EMS responded to Second Avenue East North in Columbia Falls for a broken arm.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to a hit gas line on Railway Street.

Firefighters from the Evergreen Fire Department, who had responded to reports of a "funny smell" at an East Oregon Street residence, called to say it may have been caused by an electric blanket shorting out.

The Evergreen Fire Department responded to a hit gas line on River Road.

The ALERT helicopter, the Kalispell Fire Department, and the West Valley Fire Department responded to Mountain Meadow Road, where a man's leg was broken by a falling tree snag.
