Suspect's escape foiled by snow

After officers spotted him urinating on trees, a 22-year-old man took off running Thursday night. His tracks through the newly-fallen snow foiled his escape. Kalispell Police followed the footprints to a Third Avenue West residence. There, a 22-year-old man lied about seeing the other man, and both were subsequently arrested for obstructing a peace officer. The runner was also cited for possession of dangerous drugs.

A disgruntled neighbor to a salon on Fifth Avenue West has been upset about customers parking on the city street near his residence, and was seen spraying the cars with some type of oil Thursday night.

A drunk woman who apparently slapped and hit her husband during an argument at a Farview Drive residence at 3:37 a.m. Friday before speeding off in a white Chevy Blazer has not been located.
