Flathead County sheriff’s deputies arrested a 22-year-old man for criminal endangerment after he allegedly used diesel fuel to soak the area around a fifth-wheel trailer parked on his residence’s property on Somers Road. The person living in that trailer reportedly is a smoker. Deputies also arrested his 20-year-old friend on outstanding warrants.

An 11-year-old boy on McMannamy Draw was arrested for assault with a weapon after he reportedly got into a fight with another boy. He allegedly had a knife and a pistol.

Three big underage drinking parties, at least one of which reportedly involved other drugs, ended with several citations on Mountain Meadow Road, Prairie View Drive and Whitefish State Park Road.

The county animal warden is investigating a report of a dog shot dead in a field on Jackson Trail off Middle Road outside Columbia Falls.

Deputies investigated a partner assault in which a Tamarack Lane man reportedly injured his wife. 

On West Reserve Drive in Evergreen, a man took off after assaulting his wife and could not be located.

Somebody moved large boulders into the roadway on Bierney Creek Road by Lakeside. After moving them back off the road, somebody else called the sheriff’s office.

Grass fires were reported in several locations, including Lone Pine Road, LaBrant Road and Morning Glory Lane.

One of two women cited for shoplifting at an Evergreen box store was taken to the detention center for outstanding warrants.

Deputies logged 146 calls for assistance between 3:30 p.m. Saturday and 3:30 p.m. Sunday.

The woman was causing problems with employees at a bar on Woodland Park Drive, Kalispell police were told, refusing to leave and stealing other customers’ drinks. She went home with a family member who was called to the bar.

An Airport Road casino bouncer reported two men fighting. Police caught up to one of them, “proned out” at a nearby motel. No charges were filed

Parents found drugs on their daughter and another person. Police separated them.

Another parent turned in his 22-year-old son for destroying property and stealing windshields from a glass shop on First Street West.

Two 42-year-old men were arrested for DUI and violating a stoplight and a stop sign in two separate traffic stops. Police arrested a 23-year-old man on a Lake County DUI warrant, and for driving with a suspended license and having an expired registration.

A man bicycling along Corporate Drive found a wallet on the roadside and turned it over to police anonymously. It was reunited with its owner.

Two wheelchairs went missing from Edgerton School. At a grocery store, somebody lost her cell phone Saturday; by Sunday, somebody was using it.

Officers offered advice to the person reporting a possibly fraudulent check received for goods sold at a garage sale.

Friday night, a truck got egged; Saturday night it was keyed. On Fourth Avenue East, somebody spray-painted vehicles black.

Columbia Falls police arrested a 15-year-old boy at his Third Avenue home for alleged theft of a bicycle.

Whitefish police checked out a report of kids at the end of the City Beach boat dock trying to light a fire and yelling profanities. They reportedly left on skateboards.

Two men fighting and running from one Central Avenue bar to another drew police attention. One of them was arrested for partner or family member assault.

Police arrested a man for allegedly assaulting a woman at her home on Wedgewood Drive.

Three Rivers EMS took a man from a semi-truck parking area at the corner of U.S. 2 and Montana 40 to the hospital for treatment of chest pains.

Kalispell ambulance took an elderly woman who had fainted at a church on Main Street to Kalispell Regional Medical Center Sunday morning.

Kalispell Fire Department was called to the Salvation Army thrift store for a possible electrical fire Saturday afternoon.
