Paul Henry Hank Hayes, 31, left us too soon to be with his Father in heaven on April 7, 2010. He was born April 19, 1978, in Cut Bank. From the beginning Hank was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed fishing of all kinds. He loved being in the outdoors, whether it was hunting, camping or hiking; it was where he found his peace. Hank also loved being with family and friends, and especially loved to have a big barbecue. He was a true artist; able to draw and capture the inner beauty of things. He will be greatly missed, more than words can express. Hank was preceded in death by his parents, Gene Hayes and Linda Lyle. He is survived by his fiancee, Terrah Messick; their unborn son; and his future stepdaughter, Aieryanna; a sister, Amy, and her husband, Richard, of Oregon; his brother, Frank, of Kalispell; and his grandfather, Frank Knapp, of Shelby. He leaves behind many uncles and aunts, nieces and nephews, and friends whom he loved so very much. Services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 19, in the Ponderosa Room at City Hall, 952 East Spruce, in Libby. Arrangements are by Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home in Libby.
