BIGFORK — The second time around was just like the first meeting on the courts for Bigfork and Glacier in tennis.

Bigfork defeated Glacier 4-3 in boys and girls action in Kalispell on April 12. On Tuesday, Bigfork prevailed again — 4-3 in boys play and 5-2 in girls action.

Glacier coach Josh Munro fiddled with his lineup card in both singles and doubles action.

“We had some of our younger kids gain some valuable experience,” he said.

Munro had four freshmen girls in action for this one.

“It was a good learning experience for our younger girls,” he said.

Overall, he was pleased.

“Four matches went the distance, we saw some tie-breakers,” he said.

“That’s a great learning experience. It’s tough to duplicate those situations in practice.”

Glacier will compete in the Helena Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
