Harold Dwight Bostic, 76

Harold Dwight Bostic, 76, passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2010. He was born in Rollins on Nov. 7, 1933, and lived the majority of his life in the Flathead Valley. He graduated from Flathead County High School in 1951 and continued to educate himself until his retirement in 1999. Harold married Charlotte F. Goldhammer on Aug. 4, 1956, and together they raised their three boys, Randy, Ron and Carey. Harold was a career truck driver most of his life. He drove a variety of trucks including tanker, long haul, and owned and operated his own logging truck. Harold was an avid and skilled modeler, building cars, boats and airplanes. Throughout his life he enjoyed motorcycling and snowmobiling with his family and friends. For Harold, the faster the machine, the better he enjoyed it! He enjoyed waterskiing, boating and camping. He was involved with his sons throughout their years in youth baseball, coaching at times, and always their number one supporter. Harold is survived by his wife of 53 years, Charlotte; sister, Phyllis Arnst, and husband, Fred; son, Randy, and his wife, Dawn; son, Ron, and his wife, Linda; son, Carey, and his wife, Heather; eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Friends and family are invited to a memorial service at 1 p.m. on April 26 at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at Glacier Memorial Gardens. Friends are also invited to fellowship with the family following the graveside service, at the Church of the Nazarene, 1295 Whitefish Stage Road.
