Hose-spraying ends peacefully in Olney

Although a neighbor apparently sprayed an Olney woman with a hose and screamed profanities around 5 p.m. Monday, a woman reported to Flathead County Sheriff’s deputies that the two have since worked things out.

Deputies were unable to locate two men who were apparently very drunk and yelling at each other as they walked toward a plant store on U.S. 2 East Monday afternoon.

Those shooting bows and guns near a Spotted Bear Road residence Monday evening were counseled about safe shooting.

Coming home from out of town Monday night, a Coyote Meadow Trail resident found the home ransacked and a boat and electronics stolen.

Deputies were unable to locate the location of the 10 gunshots heard near Janens Way around 10:30 p.m. Monday.

Screens were discovered missing from a Bear Canyon Road residence, but deputies were unsure if the removal was from animals, the wind or criminals.

Deputies received 140 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Kalispell Police arrested a man for partner or family member assault after he apparently pushed a woman into a wall and threw her over a couch around 3:30 p.m. Monday.

A large metal swivel was discovered stolen from a crane along Second Avenue West Monday afternoon. It is valued around $95.

After pulling a bike out of the slough in Dry Bridge Gulch Park Tuesday morning, the finder wanted to know if he could keep it if it was not claimed.

A panhandling man and woman were sent on their way from the parking lot of a box store on U.S. 93 North around noon Tuesday.

Officers received 68 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Hearing a woman screaming for help near Somers Avenue, a concerned citizen called Whitefish Police Monday night. A man was later located by Kalispell Police and arrested for partner or family member assault and criminal trespass.

Officers were unable to locate the three black-wearing juveniles seen grabbing door handles along Somers Avenue around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Officers received 19 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Columbia Falls Police received 28 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.
