John Charles Jack Bloxham, 82

John Charles Jack Bloxham, 82, of Great Falls, died of pneumonia in Palm Desert, Calif. on April 16, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. at the Great Falls Christian Center on Friday. Burial will follow at Manchester Cemetery. Jack was born on March 13, 1928, to Charles John Chick and Ann (Smith) Bloxham in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Jack worked in the auction ring as a young boy with his father. Working with livestock led to buying cattle, bucking horses and race horses, and he taught himself to be an auctioneer. He competed in rodeos for many years. At one time he was a rodeo contractor with Bob Nordtome with Big Sky Rodeo. Jack also owned Bloxham Cattle Co. In January of 2010 he was inducted in the Montana State Rodeo Hall and Wall of Fame. He was a member of the Elks Club, MLCC, PRCA, and the Lades Country Club in Palm Desert. He loved fly fishing, snow skiing, and spending time with his family and friends. Jack is survived by his wife, Billie Jean, of Great Falls; daughters, Vickie and Spencer Workman, and Leslie and Allen Stensrud, all of Great Falls; stepsons, Doug and Jody Siderius, and Dan Siderius, all of Kalispell; stepdaughters, LeAnn Siderius of Kalispell, and Laurie and Kelly Quinlan of Hamilton. Jack is also survived by his sisters, Betty Anderson of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Jerry Rutledge of Wickenburg, Ariz.; 20 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Debbie Thigpen; and his former wives, Jackie and Margaret. Memorials can be made to Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch, P.O.
