Jerry Boyd Mortensen, 64

Jerry Boyd Mortensen, born March 6, 1946, passed away at his home in Whitefish on Nov. 27, 2010. He will be remembered in the valley for the many years he worked at Cardinal Hardware in Evergreen. His greatest pleasures were the accomplishments of his family. He is survived by his mother, Jeanette; his wife of 45 years, Margo; son and daughter-in-law, Lance and Kelly; daughter, Marshauna; sister-in-law, Marsha; brother-in-law, Jack Thompson; niece, Kelly Kellems; grandson, Trent, at Montana Tech in Butte; granddaughter, Hailey, at Wenatchee Valley College; also many other family, friends and loved ones. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert. There will be no services following cremation, as per his request. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Whitefish Girls Softball or Columbia Falls Fire and Rescue. Arrangements by Austin Funeral Home.
