Police arrest sleepy teenage girl

Kalispell Police arrested a teenager in the 800 block of East Oregon Street at 7:18 p.m. Saturday after a 17-year-old girl was found falling asleep and possibly had overdosed on drugs.

A woman was arrested at a bar in the 1400 block of Airport Road at 1:13 a.m. Sunday after a man was hit in the eye.

Someone reported that boys were fighting at Sunset Boulevard and West Nevada Street at 2:48 p.m. Saturday. Five youths total were seen in a white car and a pickup truck blocking traffic.

A man called to say that his son’s ex-girlfriend was causing problems by sending text messages and calling in the 100 block of Sixth Street East at 3:13 p.m. Saturday.

A woman reported that $20 in cash was stolen from her purse at a bar on Woodland Park Drive Friday night. The purse was found in the men’s restroom with contents spilled out.

A 20-year-old man was taken to the hospital after he overdosed on drugs at 6:37 p.m. Saturday. The man was on probation.

A possible DUI was reported after someone saw a man stopped at the light at South Main Street and Third Street East slapping his face at 10:07 p.m. Saturday.

Three vehicles were involved in an accident at Rosewood Drive and Liberty Street at 10:47 p.m. Saturday. The vehicles were a white 1989 Ford Probe, a red 2003 Dodge Neon and a silver 2004 Dodge Durango. A woman at the accident was arrested on a theft warrant.

A woman complained after hearing something hit her front door at 4:52 a.m. Sunday in the 600 block of Second Street West. The woman was advised that it was probably a newspaper.

A woman’s wallet was lost at a restaurant in the 1700 block of U.S. 93 South at 10:01 a.m. Sunday. The wallet was found in the trash.

A theft of money, a wallet and credit cards from an unlocked car in the 500 block of 11th Street West was reported Sunday morning.

A package was stolen from a front porch in the 40 block of Vanderbilt Drive on Wednesday night.

Polson Police arrested a 54-year-old woman and a 41-year-old man at 12:41 p.m. Saturday. The couple allegedly took things from cabinets at a hotel and put the items in their shirts.

A man reported that a woman would not leave his residence in the 1200 block of Main Street in Polson at 1:48 a.m. Saturday. The woman was gone by the time officers arrived.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a boy hitting his mother and father in the 37300 block of Montana 83 at 7:44 p.m. Saturday. The youth was counseled.

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a physical disturbance on Pheasant Drive in Kalispell at 2:31 a.m. Sunday.

A violation of privacy in communications was reported at 7:20 p.m. Saturday on Montana 206 in Columbia Falls.

A burglary was reported on East Evergreen Drive at 4:58 p.m. Saturday.

A theft report was made on Gordon Avenue in Columbia Falls at 3:36 p.m. Saturday.

Montana Highway Patrol took a report of a hit-and-run accident on U.S. 93 near mile marker 119 in Lake County on Saturday.

Hit-and-run accidents were also reported Saturday on Pinsoneault Road and on U.S. 93 near mile marker 34 near Pleasant View Lane, both in Lake County.

A woman was sleeping in her car with a small child in the 1100 block of U.S. 2 East at 9:02 a.m. Sunday.

Whitefish Police took a harassment report on Baker Avenue at 6:59 a.m. Saturday.

An assault was reported on Central Avenue at 1:19 a.m. Sunday.
