Terry Wharton of Kalispell put up the new Christmas lights along Nucleus Avenue in Columbia Falls on Tuesday morning. Fifty new lights; 24 trees for Nucleus, and 26 stars for Highway 2, were purchased by the community for just under twenty thousand dollars. They are replacing lights that were originally purchased 40 years ago.
