Weapons reported stolen to sheriff's office

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary at a home on Snowline Lane, south of Kalispell, where four handguns, three shotguns and a rifle were stolen. Deputies believe someone entered the home through an unlocked window.

On Blanchard Lake Road, a resident reported that two people were doing drugs in a vehicle parked in a nearby driveway.

A pit bull attacked another dog on Fourth Avenue West North.

An elderly woman said her daughter’s ex-boyfriend shoved her during a dispute over custody of a child on West Evergreen Drive.

Mailboxes were knocked over on Mackinaw Lane in Somers.

An evicted tenant was accused of breaking into a vehicle on U.S. 2 East.

A caller on Montana 35 said a reckless truck driver passed on the right.

A West Valley Acres resident was accused of operating a puppy mill, but the report was unfounded. The owner has a kennel license.

Deputies arrested a 30-year-old man at a home near U.S. 93, south of Whitefish, after he allegedly pushed a woman to the ground during an argument.

Also on U.S. 93 South, a woman reported a suspicious man, saying she once went on a date with him and he drank a “a cold-pack of Mountain Dew.”

The Kalispell Police Department reminds city residents they must remove snow from sidewalks.

Property owners are required to shovel surrounding sidewalks within 72 hours of accumulation. Business owners in the central business district are required to remove snow by noon on the day of accumulation. An offense can lead to a fine of $50, according to the city’s municipal code.

On Seventh Avenue West, a caller said he witnessed a male driver jump out of a vehicle and punch a male pedestrian in the face. When confronted, the assailant, who appeared to be 16 or 17, told the witness that the pedestrian had stolen from him.

A white Dodge pickup drove away after colliding with a woman’s vehicle on South Main Street.

A woman on Windward Way wants to press assault charges against a neighbor after an altercation earlier this week.

Morphine was reportedly stolen from a residence on Kenway Road.

An Xbox and $100 was reported stolen from a hotel room near U.S. 93 South.

A parent on Ninth Avenue West reported a possible child predator after receiving a phone call from someone claiming to be a 15-year-old female who wanted to talk to the woman’s 15-year-old daughter. The parent thought the voice was that of an older male.

On Fourth Avenue East, a caller reported seeing a man walking while pushing a stroller and arguing with the driver of a vehicle who was traveling next to him.

Someone knocked over two garbage cans on Third Avenue East North.

An employee at a business on North Main Street said there was a man wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt climbing on the roof of the building.

Cash and a food stamp card were reported stolen by someone on West Utah Street.

After leaving her purse in a restaurant on U.S. 2 West, a woman said someone stole $800 from it.

Medical marijuana was reported stolen by a man on Liberty Street.
