Pauline Urban-Bedrin, 63

Pauline Urban-Bedrin, 63, passed away Dec. 9, 2010, at her home in Kalispell, amidst family. 

She was born on April 13, 1947, in Kalispell to Jesse and Alvina (Avery) Urban. 

She was raised on the family farm with her two brothers and four sisters, graduated from St. Matthew's grade school in 1961 and Flathead County High School in 1965. She was a devoted member of the Catholic Church according to its traditional doctrines and worship. She loved being outside, making rosaries, picking huckleberries and entertaining family and friends, but most of all she loved being a grandma to her 20 grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. 

She is survived by her husband, Richard Bedrin; mother, Alvina Urban of Spokane; brothers, Rudy Urban of Bigfork, and Dennis Urban of Kalispell; sisters, Sue Dumm of Boulder, Colo., Aggie Anderson of Denver, Sister Mary Bernadette of Boston, and Francie Radecki of Spokane; son, David O'Neil of Dallas; daughter, Wendy O’Neil of Dallas; daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Larry Schulte of Sparta, Ill., and twin granddaughters, Megan and Samantha Schulte; daughter and son-in-law, Sara and Joseph Strain of Spokane, and grandchildren, Tyler, Áine, Joey, Anthony, Brigid and Mary Pauline Strain; daughter and son-in-law, Maria and Matt Axtman of Brownsburg, Ind., and grandchildren, Nicholas, Jessica, Alyssa and Emma Axtman; and daughter and son-in-law, Kayte and Tracy Isakson of Spokane, and grandchildren, Alisa, Matthew, Aunna, Lucy, Samuel, Sophia, Claire and Audrey Isakson.

She and her family wish to thank her best friend, Marolyn McLeod of Kalispell, for all she has done for her throughout the years. Pauline loved her clients and will especially miss working with her partner, Maggie Hopkins.

Burial Mass for the Dead will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14, at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home, with the Rev. Casimir Puskorius as celebrant. Burial will follow at Spring Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 13, with a rosary to follow at 6 p.m.
