Headlights lead to vehicle assault

Kalispell Police Department officers searched for a man who allegedly punched a window out of a woman's vehicle after she flashed her headlights at him on U.S. 2 West.

A 54-year-old man was arrested for violating a protection order after someone on Second Street West reported he was "sabotaging machines" and throwing soda on walls and clothes in the basement of a home.

Officers told a man trespassing at a property on First Avenue East to leave.

A woman on U.S. 93 North kept a stray dog for a night after it came to her door and began barking.

A teenage girl was reported as a runaway on Windward Way.

A theft was reported on Second Avenue West.

Officers arrested a 26-year-old man for an outstanding warrant on Meridian Road.

Criminal mischief was reported on Sixth Street West after a home's owners discovered that the laundry room had been damaged.

A hit-and run collision was reported on North Main Street after a man noticed damage to his Ford pickup truck.
