C. Lee Traylor, 70

| December 16, 2010 2:00 AM

Lee Traylor “began his journey into the next life” Dec. 14, 2010.

Lee was the eldest of 13 children, born Dec. 1, 1941, in Beaumont, Texas.

Lee was a veteran, serving two years in the Air Force as well as a year with the Merchant Marines.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda.

He is survived by his siblings, Ben, Jeff, Buck, Michael, Tom, Tonya, Irene, Jean and Paula.

Lee came to Kalispell in July of 2010. Lee was a loving, generous soul. With a genuine love for people, Lee went out of his way to see that those around him had what they needed. It could be a soda pop or pack of cigarettes, a coat or pair of snow boots, or Christmas gifts for the four children of a homeless family.

Lee and his siblings didn’t have a whole lot growing up. When Lee was a young man and most of his siblings were very small, they lost both parents. Lee spoke about this with deep sadness. It was in his heart to make up for his past by finding ways to bless the futures of those around him. He made a difference. We love and miss him.
