Couple keeps Kalispell police busy

A woman and a man were given a ride to their home in the 100 block of Nicklaus Avenue by Kalispell Police at 10:34 p.m. Saturday after one man in the parking lot of a bar in the 70 block of Woodland Park Drive threatened another man with a knife. A bartender took the knife.

A woman at the same residence on Nicklaus Avenue called police at 11:31 p.m. to report that her boyfriend was ripping things apart in the basement. Dispatch reported that a man was heard yelling and running the vacuum. The man was bleeding from cuts incurred in a fight at the bar. The woman and her 87-year-old grandmother were in the garage when the phone call was made.

Someone reported that a man was outside screaming at the top of his lungs in the 50 block of Appleway Drive at 2:31 a.m. Sunday. At first, the man sounded like a dying animal, the caller said. Police responded and found a man on the ground behind a motel. The man was taken back to his apartment.

An assault was reported on Fourth Avenue West North after a suspect spit in a man’s face on Thursday.

A 38-year-old woman was detained for shoplifting in the 2300 block of U.S. 93 North at 2:21 p.m. Saturday.

Police arrested two people on warrants on West Reserve Drive and U.S. 93 North at 4:22 p.m. Saturday.

A man told dispatch that he slid into a street sign with his Black Hummer H2 on Second Avenue and Ninth Street East at 5:07 p.m. Saturday. The sign was bent.

A young man wearing a black sweatshirt stole an energy drink in the 800 block of East Idaho Street at 11:19 p.m. Saturday. The man got away on foot.

Whitefish Police responded to a fight on Central Avenue at 1:26 a.m. Sunday.

Montana Highway Patrol responded to a hit-and-run accident at 1:09 p.m. Sunday on Trumble Creek Road near Birch Grove Road.

Troopers responded to an injury accident at 8:06 p.m. Saturday on U.S. 93 near Division Street in Lake County.

An injury accident was reported at 2:18 p.m. Saturday on U.S. 93 North in Flathead County.

Flathead County Sheriff’s Office responded to a physical disturbance on Zimmerman Road in Kalispell at 11:59 p.m. Saturday.

A stolen vehicle was reported on Gopher Lane in Marion at 8:40 p.m. Saturday.

A physical disturbance was reported on Happy Hollow in Somers at 3:51 p.m. Saturday.

Harassment was reported on Spotted Bear Road in Martin City at 2:59 p.m. Saturday.

Child neglect was reported on West Reserve Drive in Kalispell at 2:33 p.m. Saturday.

Criminal mischief was reported on Trap Road in Columbia Falls at 12:35 p.m. Saturday.

Threats were made on Jellison Road in Kalispell at 11:56 a.m. Saturday.

A theft was reported on Broken Wheel Loop in Kalispell at 10:20 a.m. Saturday.
