Carrie Elizabeth McDonald, 49

Carrie Elizabeth McDonald, 49, died peacefully at home Dec. 17, 2010.

She was born in Kalispell on Jan. 31, 1961. She attended Evergreen grade school and junior high, and graduated from Flathead High School in 1979. She attended college in Moscow, Idaho, majoring in interior design.

Carrie, a devoutly religious woman, was an artist who, in recent years, focused on Christian themes.

Carrie courageously faced juvenile rheumatoid arthritis throughout her life and will be remembered by all who knew her for her youthful, fun-loving spirit.

She is survived by her loving mother, Ruth Jones; stepfather, Ivan Jones; and her sisters and brothers, Rebecca Orford, Vicki McDonald, Josie Hill, and Clay, Steve and Casey McDonald; as well as her closest friend, Rhonda Hermosillo. Carrie is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, James McDonald.

A memorial service for Carrie will be held in the spring of 2011.
