Cynthia 'Cindy' Vey Pearce Russell, 56

Cynthia “Cindy” Vey Pearce Russell, 56, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 19, 2010, surrounded by her family at her home in Kalispell.

She was born on March 10, 1954, to James and Bernice Pearce.

Cindy met her life partner, Scott Russell, in 1973. They were married in Heron, Mont., on July 10, 1976. From this union were born a daughter, Scarla and son, Ronnie.

Cindy never gave up on anyone or turned anyone away. Her life was a true testament that hope, love and faith can truly move mountains. She was an amazing mom, wife, granny and friend. Anyone whose path crossed Cindy’s was truly blessed. She, by her example, made us all better people.

Cindy took much pride in being a granny. All the fun times and wisdom that she shared with them will be a part of who they are forever. We know that Cindy will be our guardian angel and watch down on us all.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Scott; her daughter, Scarla, and husband, Shannon, and their children, Taryn, Maggie and Sierra; and son, Ron, and wife, Jen, and their children, Jayden and Tanner; her siblings, Bonnie and Bill, Larry, Judy, Keith and Marilyn, Jim Pearce and Janet Edwards; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Cindy’s life will be held at a later date.
