Man's home not really 'for rent'

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a report from a man on Arbour Court who was surprised to learn that his home was listed as “for rent” on a website where classified advertisements are posted. The unknown suspect was asking interested applicants to pay a deposit before seeing the home, which is already occupied.

Deputies arrested a 13-year-old boy for partner/family member assault after he allegedly threw his mother to the floor at a home on Jayhawk Lane outside Columbia Falls.

A telemarketer was accused of using profane language during a call to a resident of Addison Court.

The driver of a white Chevrolet Berreta was accused of stepping out of the vehicle and urinating in a garbage can near Montana 35 in Bigfork.

A woman reported that her boyfriend was blocking her from her car during an argument on Ardell Lane.

A man grabbed a 12-pack of beer and ran out of a business on Woodland Park Drive without paying.

A man wanted to speak to a deputy after the mother of his daughter allowed the girl to get a piercing.

The Kalispell Police Department took a report from a woman on First Avenue West who said she wrote a $30 check to a man who subsequently changed the amount to $300 and cashed it, overdrawing her bank account.
