Teen runs off after theft of drink

The Kalispell Police Department took a report at a business on U.S. 93 South where a teenage boy allegedly stole an energy drink.

When confronted by an employee while seated in a vehicle outside, the boy threw the can out of the truck and denied the theft before running away.

Another person in the vehicle provided the employee with the boy's name, which was passed on to law enforcement.

Also on U.S. 93 South, a driver reported that someone backed into her vehicle as she was fueling up, and then drove away.

A man on U.S. 2 West reported that someone kicked his vehicle.

Someone stole a speaker from a vehicle parked near U.S. 2 West.

Teenagers were reportedly harassing someone on First Avenue East North.

A wallet was reported stolen by a man on North Main Street.

A verbal disturbance was reported near First Avenue West where a man and woman were seen arguing.

Someone rifled through a vehicle parked near Hutton Ranch Road, but nothing was taken.

Two men were reported for fighting at a business on Airport Road, but officers were unable to locate them.

Everything was a quiet at an apartment on Third Avenue East after officers responded to a report of possible underage drinking.

A woman on U.S. 93 South reported that he ex-husband would not return their child to her.

Also near U.S. 93 South, a woman reported the loss of a diamond engagement ring valued at approximately $6,000.

A teenage girl was arrested for a felony probation violation after a report she was at a home on Eighth Avenue West North.

The Montana Highway Patrol responded to a collision that resulted in no injuries near the intersection of River Road and U.S. 2 in Columbia Falls.

A hit-and-run collision was reported on U.S. 93 South near the intersection of Finley Creek Road in Lake County.

The Whitefish Police Department investigated a report of disorderly conduct on Hospital Way.
