Kalispell high school board has opening

Kalispell Public Schools has an opening on its high school board of trustees.

John Osweiler, who was in the third year of his three-year term, has resigned from the board, effective Jan. 1. His replacement will serve until the school election in May; at that time, he or she may run for reelection.

Qualified trustees will represent the Helena Flats and Evergreen school districts on the board and must live in one of those districts.

Those interested in the position must submit letters of interest and a brief resume to the Board of Trustees, Kalispell Public Schools, 233 First Ave. E., by 4:30 p.m. Jan. 7.
