Goats on the loose in Kalispell

Responding to a report of goats being loose near some apartments on Ashley Creek Court Monday morning, Kalispell Police rounded them up, put them back in a pen and made contact with a woman who was arrested on two felony warrants.

After a traffic stop near East Washington Street and North Main, a  woman was arrested for drunk driving.

There was a report of two males trying to break into a vehicle near an East Oregon Street business. They were gone when police arrived.

A man who made a severe mess at an East Idaho apartment was arrested for a mental health evaluation.

After a traffic stop near Fifth Avenue West and First Street West, a woman was arrested for drunken driving, second offense.

There was a report of a fence being cut and someone attempting to break into a building at Lawrence Park.

Sunday, a Rosewood Drive resident reported that a Rottweiler cross dog has been repeatedly jumping a fence into the yard, and the resident considers the dog threatening and aggressive.

There were 59 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report Monday of a person who had left two loads of garbage at the county landfill without paying. Deputies later contacted the person and instructed him to pay.

A camera, computer and medications were reported stolen from a vehicle owned by a Tumbleweed Trail resident.

A Collier Lane resident reported finding a bullet hole in her vehicle Monday. While that was not confirmed by the afternoon, she was counseled on how to get a restraining order.

Sunday, there was a report of $200 rental skis being stolen at Whitefish Mountain Resort.

A person reported that a checkbook was stolen from a vehicle on the 2800 block of Middle Road.

A deputy ended up talking to some boys who were caught throwing snowballs at vehicles near U.S. 93 north of Kalispell.

There were 124 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Responding to a report of a man carrying a knife at a Spokane Avenue bowling alley early Monday, Whitefish Police ended up arresting him for carrying a concealed weapon and disorderly conduct. There were 21 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Columbia Falls Police had no significant incidents and just seven log entries between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.
