James Henry Daroll Harreld, 78

James Henry Daroll Harreld, 78, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010, at the Immanuel Lutheran Home in Kalispell, after a massive stroke at his home on Jan. 26. He was born on Aug. 12, 1931, in Ajo, Ariz., to Samuel H. and Oleta (Lamb) Harreld. James served in the Marine Corps and was in the Korean War in 1952 and 1953. After returning home he worked as a logging truck driver and a loader operator for several years. James married Priscilla M. Himmesoete in 1980. James is survived by his wife, Priscilla M. Harreld; a son, Billy Harreld, of Nevada, Mo., and two sisters, Virginia McConnell of California, and Janis Johnson of Tennessee. He is also survived by six stepchildren and many stepgreat-grandchildren, all who loved him and will miss him dearly. Graveside services for James will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, at Glacier Memorial Gardens, with military honors by the United Veterans of the Flathead.
