The Kalispell Police Department reminds citizens of the parking requirements when snow plows are out.

If it is an even-numbered calendar day, people should park on the side of the street adjacent to even-numbered addresses.

If it is an odd-numbered calendar day, citizens should park on the side of the street adjacent to odd-numbered addresses

Parking is prohibited in city-owned off-street parking areas between 2 and 6 a.m.

The same times apply to the central business district.

Citizens are required to clear snow, ice and slush from sidewalks in front of and adjoining their property to allow for safe and convenient foot travel.

Snow may not be pushed from private property onto city sidewalks, streets and boulevards.
