COLUMBIA FALLS — Kayla DeWit scored 22 points and older sister Kelsey added 17 as the Columbia Falls Wildkats downed visiting Libby 54-44 in a Northwestern A matchup on Friday night.

“Again, we just keep building and building. We just keep doing the things we need to do,” said Columbia Falls coach Dan Fairbank.

Kelsey DeWit was coming off a 22-point, 20 rebound effort on Thursday against Eureka.

“I don’t know if I’ve ever coached that (type of effort) with girls basketball before,” Fairbank said. “We did a good job defensively as a team,” he added.

Jackie Mee paced Libby with 14 points. Alyshia Martin and Jaime Gilden added 10 apiece for the Loggers.

The Wildkats (4-4) play host next Friday to Ronan.
